Collectively, our team brings over 40 years of experience driving revenue growth, building teams, and scaling finance operations across diverse sectors including healthcare, transportation, robotics, legal services, and manufacturing.
In our previous roles, we have facilitated over $1 billion in financing for SMBs, mid-market firms, and Fortune 100 companies, enabling access to the balance sheets of banks and the largest independent finance companies.
We have a proven track record of startups, M&A, scaling, and turnarounds across specialty lending, Banking as a Service, fintech, telecom, and high-tech companies.
We are skilled in developing go-to-market and growth sales strategies to unlock revenue potential, including leading efforts in new businesses and businesses lacking formal sales structures.
We have advised the World Economic Forum on data and AI, collaborated with Stanford University on AI in financial services, created the data and AI team and roadmap for a $24 Bn global corporation, and developed multiple SaaS and consumer digital products.
We look for hardware manufacturing, maintenance, and/or repair where we can add software, connectivity, and data to build a strong competitive advantage and recurring revenue.
We target regional operations that can achieve scale and where we can add serious data and technology value.
We target SaaS and similar platforms, especially in the fintech space or adjacencies like predictive analytics and security.
Everything from specialized parts to solid rocket motors is on the radar. Civilian or defense uses are both interesting, with dual-use even better.
Our goal in every domain is to implement a platform plus serial add-on program leading to strong organic and inorganic growth over a 5 - 7 year period.
We evaluate individual deals within the broader market landscape, considering how they fit into a larger, strategic framework. Even if a deal falls outside our stated parameters, we assess its potential within the platform-plus-add-on structure and remain open to opportunities that align with our vision.
Our sweet spot for enterprise valuation is $15M - $50M,
though we can go higher or lower if the deal fits our broader criteria.
We look for EBITDA in the $5M - $15M range, with demonstrated stability and a path to significant growth.
Our goal is to elevate and grow the businesses we acquire by partnering with the management and employee teams and sharing our expertise - we will not manage operations day to day. Through our experience and connections, we can help define strategy, build the organization, expand product offerings, introduce innovative technological capabilities, and drive sales.

A serial founder and entrepreneur, Robert is a seasoned C-level executive at global corporations and funded startups, as well as a trained scientist. Passionate about building and redesigning companies, he has engineered multiple notable turn-arounds, including a $100M national trucking finance business and an international fintech SaaS platform.
Robert is a recognized expert in applying machine learning and AI, integrating hardware and software products, and implementing out-of-the-box business strategies to drive accelerated modernization of established businesses. When he's not working, he can be found in the desert launching high-powered rockets (with FAA clearance, of course).
Matt is a lifelong dealmaker, growth strategist, and builder of high-performing teams. At Atlas Peak, he draws on decades of experience leading national sales organizations, scaling early-stage companies, and helping entities unlock value through operational excellence and smart acquisitions. His work spans equipment finance, manufacturing, robotics, and specialty lending, with over a billion dollars in funded transactions.
A former Division 1 high jumper, he brings the same focus and competitive edge to business that once carried him over the bar. When he’s not working, you’ll find him on a quiet back road ride, traveling the globe, or playing tennis with his wife, Linda.
